01. PeopleSoft Project Director – Enterprise level
  • Migration of non-erp application to PeopleSoft application (Data mapping etc)
  • Good understanding of PIAInitial Product evaluation and choosing modules as per organization requirement
  • Project plan coordination with various teams
  • Evaluation and implementation of PeopleSoft products
  • Capacity Planning

02. PeopleSoft Project Manager
  • Reports to PeopleSoft Director
  • Good understanding of PIA
  • Project planning
  • Capacity Planning
  • Over all Process improvement and PeopleSoft best practices
  • Set milestones and track from project plan
  • The individual in these roles provides leadership for the project team
  • Produces the status reports, plans, budgets and formal methodology
  • All aspects of project planning and control, and supports the design, development and deployment of a strong quality program.
  • Identify the gaps in process and coordination among various teams to get it resolved.
  • Over all responsible for health and availability of the PeopleSoft application to business users.
  • The Project Manager is responsible for the “care and feeding” of the consulting and client project team members
03.PeopleSoft Solution Architect
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise and n-tier applications and architectures.
  • Ability to develop and communicate complex system architectures.
04.PeopleSoft Functional consultant
  • Reports to PeopleSoft Techno-Functional lead
  • Strong knowledge in Core PeopleSoft modules and PeopleSoft security
  • Experience in min 2 or 3 end-to-end Implementations / Upgrade projects.
  • Should have the ability to drive fit gap workshops with business
  • Should be able to assist the functional team to quickly come up with keep-drop analysis
  • Full understanding of project life cycle and Upgrade methodologies
  • Must have end-to-end Implementation/Upgrade experience in latest PeopleSoft application version V9.1
  • Ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels
  • Must be creative, innovative and familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques
05.PeopleSoft Developer
  • Reports to PeopleSoft Techno-Functional lead
  • Competence in Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, and Component Interface.
  • Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS is required.
  • Functional understanding of key processes in HR, Benefits Administration, ESS, MSS, ePerformance and North American Payroll modules is desirable.
  • Experience with the following is a plus: Integration Broker, Application Security, Self Service configuration, AWE.
  • Maintain, trouble shoot and fix errors in existing applications systems.
  • Collaborate with the user community and other IT resources (Business Analysts, testers, developers and administrators).
06.PeopleSoft Techno/Functional lead
  • Reports to Project Manager
  • Coordinates Dev team and functional team leads and reports to the Project manager
  • SME with hands on experience on PeopleSoft modules –technical/functional
  • Prepares project plan for any major tasks such as applying patches/upgrades etc which affects the environment in coordination with teams required sign off on time line and support.
  • Applies due-diligence to ensure best practices for PeopleSoft application.
  • Ensures projects, objects affecting the environment are moved through Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC).
  • Be ahead of the curve and advice Project manager on new technologies, tools useful for the organization.
  • Coordinates Dev team and functional team leads and reports status to the PeopleSoft Project Manager
07.PeopleSoft Application administrator (PeopleSoft Apps Admin)
  • Reports to PeopleSoft Project Manager
  • Act as a bridge between various teams viz. PeopleSoft Application, DBA, o/s System Administrators in providing periodical patches, best practices etc to mitigate the risk and health of the PeopleSoft application environment.
  • Good knowledge of Integration Broker and Application Security
  • Prepares project plan for any major tasks such as applying PeopleSoft PIA patches/upgrades etc which affects the environment in coordination with teams required sign off on time line and support.
  • Applies due-diligence to ensure best practices for PeopleSoft application.
  • Ensures projects, objects affecting the environment are moved through SDLC life cycle.
  • Set best practices and periodical maintenance for PeopleSoft environments, based on vendor recommendations, experience, and business needs.
  • Be ahead of the curve and advice Project manager on new technologies, tools useful for the organization.
  • Act as an SME by constantly tapping latest updates from “My oracle support” , mitigate the risk in advance
  • Plan annual (future growth) capacity requirements of the applications in areas such as database size, number of end-users and application functionality; work with infrastructure
  • team to address application capacity needs.
  • Periodical testing of database backups in coordination with DBA team.
  • Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing among the team ICE, Vacation to ensure continuity of business
  • Periodic testing of fail over of server, database, etc.
  • Provide PeopleSoft architect solution wherever gaps or flaw in implementation is identified
  • Automate the repeatable PeopleSoft tasks.
  • Learn and apply new systems and system administration techniques and tasks
  • Continued learning habit such as participating in PeopleSoft user group meeting/webinar/latest PeopleSoft courses/Participate in annual Oracle conferences/ Certification etc
  • Technical
  • Provide system administration support for PeopleSoft application environment
  • Like installation, testing and migration of PeopleSoft environment, and bundled upgrades/ patch fixes etc.
  • Troubleshoot development and production application problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
  • Own and modify as appropriate PeopleSoft app server and web server configurations
  • Maintain configuration and automation required for building production and staging PeopleSoft environments. Ensure and maintain quality of non-production environments.
  • Ensure proper backup coverage and monitor backup quality.
  • Use PeopleSoft and third party development tools and languages as necessary to efficiently support and troubleshoot systems.
  • Recommend, request, and tune system monitoring.
  • Proactively monitor and install patches and upgrades
  • Configure software, monitor application
  • Manage systems for high availability and satisfactory response time work with Infrastructure team to resolve issues
  • Provide programming/scripting assistance to support ERP system automation
  • Participate in system and performance testing, application migration and deployment
  • Support testing activities including system acceptance and deployment
  • Assist with making database table changes/additions to packaged software applications.
08.PeopleSoft Database administrator
  • Reports to DBA manager
  • Follow PeopleSoft best practices in administering the database
  • Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle Server software and related products.
  • Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products/tools.
  • Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Take care of the Database design and implementation.
  • Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
  • Database tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Application tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
  • Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).
  • Do general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.
  • Interface with PeopleSoft Administrator to complete the tasks requested.
  • Contact Oracle for technical support.
09.PeopleSoft Application DBA
  • Combination of PeopleSoft Application and Database administration
10.PeopleSoft Security administrator
  • Reports to PeopleSoft manager.
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Work-flow
  • Design, implement and maintain including roles, permissions, definition security, and data security
  • Experience with security audit, compliance, prevention and procedures
  • The Security Administrator will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, building, testing, and maintaining the security environment to support PeopleSoft applications.
  • The Security Administrator will develop and implement PeopleSoft application information systems security plans and procedures, perform security reviews and access audits, recommend security solutions, advise on application-level security configurations, provide security education for end users, and investigate and mitigate security risks as required.
  • The Security Administrator is responsible for all aspects of managing and monitoring access to PeopleSoft resources, including pages, processes, queries, trees, reports, components, services, integrations, customizations, and tools.
  • The Security Administrator is to work closely with other teams to improve efficiencies in the security request and fulfillment process.
  • The Administrator maintains security in all environments in support of development, testing, and production.
  • Participate in application technical and functional testing to ensure adherence to business requirements.
  • Support the project team by establishing procedures for user maintenance, and executing those procedures in a timely manner.
  • Document and report accomplishments, issues, and status to project management.
  • Provide user support and participate actively in issues resolution.
  • Participate in scheduled functional and application training.
11.PeopleSoft Production support team
  • Reports to Project manager
  • Supports end user request on current issues
  • Functional/technical expertise
